Three different microSD cards that are perfect for your Switch are on offer, with sizes ranging between 128GB to 512GB. They’ll give you enough room whether your gaming habits are fairly light or you want to cram your console with loads to play on the go. Starting at the lower end, there’s the Samsung 128GB MicroSD EVO Select Memory Card for $19.99. This will give you an extra four times the standard capacity of the Nintendo Switch. When some of the console’s biggest games can be around 10GB or more to install, then, you should feel pretty confident that you’ll have space to have a healthy library installed at once. The next step up is a Samsung 256GB MicroSD EVO Select Memory Card for $34.99. It’s not such a huge jump in price to give you double the capacity of the previous card. I’d say this is definitely the best middle-ground option between storage space and value for money.
Lastly, if you never want to deal with the data management screen again, you can always go for the Samsung 512GB MicroSD EVO Select Memory Card for $82.99. As you can see, though, it’s quite a considerable price jump from the last card. I also don’t think it’s really all that necessary to have all that space, so save yourself a few bucks and take the middle option. This card has also been about $20 cheaper in the past, so it’s not the greatest offer out there.
