Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time was announced for PS4 and Xbox One earlier this year, and is due to arrive on October 2, 2020. The latest gameplay trailer celebrates Crash’s return with a whistlestop tour through the various environs you’ll be battling through in the new game, as well as some sneak peeks at which characters you’ll be able to play as once the game lands. As has been previously confirmed, earning skins and completing challenges will unlock skins for your characters – do if you want to change up how Crash, Coco, Tawn, Dingodile, or any of the other characters look when you’re playing them, you’ll have the option to do so. And there’ll be no microtransactions, either. There are over 100 levels in the game, so the direct sequel to Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped is going to be a bigger game than the original trilogy put together. If you pre-order the game now, you can play a demo via download on your console of choice. There’s no word on a PC or Switch version of the game yet, though publisher Activision has noted that it’s “evaluating additional platforms”.
